The Negeri Sembilan football team will undergo pre-season training in Bangkok, Thailand for 10 days starting Thursday to prepare for the new M-League season.

Negeri Sembilan team manager Datuk Abdul Ghani Hasan said during their pre-season training, the team would also play three friendly matches against renown clubs in and around Bangkok.

“We hope the pre-season training and friendly matches would come in handy in our M-League campaign. We hope the team will be stronger upon their return,” he told Bernama, here today.

Negeri Sembilan, playing in the Premier League competition, will be coached by Gary Micheal Phillips from Australia.

The 25-member team which include four Australian imports, Alex Smith, Joel Joseph Chianese, Andrew Nabbout and Taylor Regan, have targetted to gain promotion to the Super League next season. – BERNAMA
