Neymar scored a first-half penalty for Paris Saint-Germain against Bordeaux on Saturday, the first awarded to the team since the Brazilian’s much-publicised dispute with Edinson Cavani.

Neymar and Cavani disagreed over who should take a spot-kick in a 2-0 win over Lyon on September 17, with the Uruguayan eventually seeing his effort saved.

But on Saturday Cavani stepped aside to let Neymar convert a 40th-minute penalty at the Parc des Princes, the Brazilian rolling the ball into the corner to fire the home side 4-0 in front. PSG led 5-1 at half-time. – Agence France-Presse
