A state-of-the-art Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation and Reconditioning centre providing first class treatment was officially opened by Nurul Huda Abdullah, the Deputy Chef de Mission for the 2019 Manila Sea Games.
Former National Sports Institute (ISN) head of Rehabilitation and Reconditioning Jorg Teichmann who is now a director of Rehamed Therapy Sdn Bhd located at the UOA business park, in Glenmarie heads the operations of the centre 
Rehamed Therapy Sdn Bhd Managing Director Dato Lourdes J Charles said Jorg’s experience and expertise is recognised internationally  and locally. “He has treated and helped world champions like Nicol David, Cheong Jun Hoong, Azlan Iskandar, Alex Yoong, Lee Wan Wah, Farah Ann and many others. 
“Now , after 22 years he has decided to impart his knowledge and experience to the public as well as athletes who need proper physiotherapy and rehabilitation,” he said at the official opening of the centre that was also officiated by Dr David Kravenik the deputy head of Mission of the German embassy in Kuala Lumour.
Dato Charles said Rehamed Therapy has hired several of the best physiotherapist, sports therapists as well as sports science specialist to treat, rehabilitate and educate patients including prevention of injury. 
He said each and everyone of their patients would have their own tailor made programme and the staff would monitor their progress to ensure their recovery was on track.
He added that Rehamed Therapy has invested in setting up world class facilities and equipment. “We are only one of two centres that has a macine that helps treat people with lower back pain, spine injuries, knee injuries as well as stroke .
“This machine has a proven track record and many of our patients are very happy with their recovery and  commitment shown by our therapists,” he added.
Dato Charles said that at Rehamed Therapy Jorg and his staff take pride in their job and had conducted research on lower back pains and other injuries.
He said their hard work paid of as several of their research had been published by international medical and exercise megazine. He said Rehamed Therapy would constantly work towards finding ways to improve their patients recovery without compromising on the quality of service.
