Thailand picked up their second win in the PTT Thailand Five 2018 when they blasted Malaysia 7-1 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark here in Bangkok.

The Thais, who had opened their campaign with a comprehensive 4-0 beating of England, had a brace each from captain Jetsada Chudech (5th and 18th minute) and also Muhammad Osamanmusa (34th and 34th) to thank for the win.

The other goalscorers were Pornmongkol Srisubseang (19th), Warut Wangsame-Aeo (22nd) and Apiwat Chaemcharoen (26th).

Malaysia’s lone goal in the match came off Muhammad Azri Rahman in the 15th minute.

In the meantime, England came back from their first match defeat to hold Uzbekistan to a 1-1 draw in their second tie of the competition.

And the Englishmen almost came away with the win had they been able to protect Calvin Dickson’s lead in the 18th minute when they allowed Uzbekistan to slot home the equaliser a minute to the end through Davron Abdurakhmonov.
