As the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship heads to San Marino for the Rimini Round of the series, STIHL and Dorna WSBK Organization are delighted to announce their collaboration. STIHL will provide Italian fans with firsthand experience of their large array of products, matching the exhilarating entertainment taking place on track.

Following the great success of partnership at the Motul Italian Round in May, fans will be in with a second chance to see some of the stunning STIHL products first hand under Italian skies; as their products will be on display in the unique SBK Village at the Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round. On top of this, the German manufacturer will have their logos on billboards around the circuit at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

Founded in the 1920’s by Andreas Stihl, their goal is to invest in the future all over the world – mirroring the championship series #RoadToWorldSBK initiative which has been introduced for 2017. Represented in more than 160 countries, STIHL provides high quality products to ease the work surrounding professional forestry and agriculture. With products and service second to none, they have a reputation held in high regard around the world.

Massimo Gallo, Managing Director of STIHL Italia said: “We chose WorldSBK as a partner for various reasons; especially for the dynamism, the technology of the racing, and because we think the public and the motorsport enthusiasts are very close to our product category, technologically advanced winners!”

Marc Saurina, WorldSBK Commercial and Marketing Director adds: “We welcome STIHL as a strong partner for WorldSBK at the Italian Rounds, and we believe they hold the same values and reputation as our World Championship. To allow fans to be involved with the company and their products is another welcomed addition to our already well-rounded fan experience.”
