Despite not being able to score a win in the two matches they played against the Thai Under-23 team this week, Indonesian U23 head coach Luis Milla still felt that his players gave a good account of themselves.

In the first friendly, the visiting Thai side scored a 2-1 win while in the second match, they were held to a scoreless draw at the Pakansari Stadium in Bogor.

“I was very satisfied with the level of play. From the two matches, I was able to gauge the ability of the players,” said the Spanish tactician.

“It was a very tactical match when compared to the first game, where the battle was mostly at the centre of the park. It was competitive.”
