Unstoppable Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong showed that they are more than good enough for the gold medal at the Olympic Games this year when they beat the Chinese pair of Chai Biao-Hong Wei in three thrilling sets to make the final of the menās doubles.
V Shem-Wee Kiong, who recently signed as 100PLUS ambassadors, were their usual aggressive selves as they defended well to take the first set 21-18.
But Chai Biao-Hong Wei fought back in the second set 21-12 to put the game level at 1-1.
However, V Shem-Wee Kiong were just too determined on the day as they rallied to win the third set 21-17 to book their place in the final of the Olympics 2016.
