The global manufacturer, specialising in electronics and entertainment products, has partnered the world’s leading touring car racing series since 2009. It intends to continue as the Event Presenting Partner of the WTCC Race of France in June and the WTCC Race of Japan in September, while also benefiting from a number of branding opportunities. The WTCC also has plans to showcase several JVCKENWOOD products including radio systems, video and 4K cameras.
JVCKENNWOOD branding will be significant at all rounds of the WTCC with the packed grid of new-generation TC1 cars all carrying prominent windscreen livery, while ‘TV corners’, featuring substantial JVCKENWOOD identification, will be created at five rounds of the championship. A television advertising campaign around Eurosport’s coverage of the WTCC is also being implemented.
François Ribeiro, WTCC General Manager, said: “JVCKENWOOD is synonymous with the WTCC and a key member of the WTCC family since 2009. We are very pleased to continue such a successful relationship through a new two-year agreement.
