IMG-20151210-WA009Malaysia’s Formula One hopeful Akash Nandy finished a disappointing sixth at the Macau Karting Championship following a run-in with another competitor.

After starting from pole, Akash’s kart took a hit when when another racer crashed into him and damaged his chassis.

That forced Akash to go on and fight bravely to finish sixth in the event.

“I am of course happy to be back driving competitively again. A bit disappointed that the crash took away the win but that’s racing. I am looking forward to racing more next year and hope that with the help of new sponsors, we will be able to win more races,” added Akash.
