After securing his position as the Philippines head coach for the next two years, Thomas Dooley has set his team the target of making their first ever appearance in the final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016.
The Philippines and Myanmar will be co-hosting the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 in November this year.
âWe are targeting a place in the final of the AFF Suzuki Cup, after three straight semifinal finishes,â Dooley was quoted to have said.
Towards ensuring that the team polish up for the ASEAN blue-riband event, the Philippines have drawn up friendlies against Syria, China and Kyrgyzstan.
