FIFA chief Sepp Blatter was questioned Friday and his offices were searched as part a criminal probe into his suspected misappropriation of funds, the office of Switzerland’s top prosecutor said Friday.
“On 25 September 2015, representatives of the OAG (Office of the Attorney General) interrogated the defendant Joseph Blatter,” it said in a statement, adding its employees had also conducted “a house search at FIFA Headquarters with the support of the Federal Criminal Police.”
“The office of the FIFA President has been searched and data seized,” it said. –Â Agence France-Presse
