A total of eight teams will be taking part in the HCMC Futsal Cup which will take place next week on 21-26 June.
Thai Son Nam – Vietnam national champions – have been placed in Group B while runners-up Sanna Khanh Hoa are the favourites in Group A.
For the first time, the tournament will also see the inclusion of foreign players with Tran Anh Tu, president of the HCM City Football Federation, stating that having foreigners will increase the quality of the tournament.
The tournament, which is also known as the LS Cup, is free for fans in the group stage at the Thai Son Nam and Phu Th? Gymnasium although tickets will be required for the final day which will be telecast live on HTV channel.
