The Myanmar Women’s Futsal team will leave tomorrow for Bangkok, where they will have test matches in preparation for next week’s ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship 2026, in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
This follows the announcement of the 16 shortlisted players by Myanmar Women’s Futsal head coach War War Khaing for the tournament proper that will be held from 24 February to 2 March 2026.
The players representing Myanmar are those who participated in the 2025 SEA Games and players from the 2025 AYA Women’s Football League.
Myanmar are in Group B against Vietnam, Philippines, and Australia, while Group A is Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
