Indonesia Under-22 head coach Indra Sjafri stated that the FIFA Match Days in November will serve as strategic preparation for the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.
“These are not just trial matches, but a crucial part of the process of building a solid team ready to compete at the 33rd SEA Games,” said Indra.
“I appreciate the trust placed in the U22 National Team by PSSI President Erick Thohir to utilise the FIFA Match Day in November as part of the preparation period leading up to the Thailand event.”
The plan is for the Indonesia U22 team to play two matches during FIFA Match Days in November, as part of their continued preparation after two matches against India earlier.
