Former Indonesian champions Persipura Jayapura are on the lookout for a new coach following the recent departure of Peter Butler.

The Black Pearl as they are more fondly known as decided to part ways with the Englishman following a string of bad results which resulted in Persipura being currently placed fifth in the 18-team Indonesia Liga One.

The team is now being handled by assistant coaches Tony Ho and Alan Haviludin.

“I have instructed the team manager to look for a new head coach as well as a fitness coach and also a player from Asia,” said Persipura Jayapura President Benhur Tomi Mano.

“We hope to fill these positions soon.”
