STADIUM Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam sudah sedia menerima kunjungan pasukan dan pemain dengan segala persiapan teknikal dan fasiliti sudah selesai menjelang bermulanya saingan bolasepak wanita Sukan SEA KL2017.

Perlawanan pertama membabitkan skuad negara yang akan turun menentang Filipina pada 15 Ogos ini.

Pengurus Stadium UiTM Shah Alam, Mohd Hafiz Tahar berkata pihak beliau sudah bersiap sedia sejak awal tahun terutama memastikan semua kemudahan fizikal disediakan.

“Semua kelengkapan utama seperti lampu limpah, bilik persalinan dan tempat duduk penyokong telah dikemaskini. Tidak banyak urusan birokrasi kerana stadium ini telah mendapat kelulusan Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM),” kata beliau.

Pemeriksaan terakhir ke atas padang akan dilakukan untuk benar-benar memastikan tidak sebarang masalah ke atas padang terutama selepas hujan yang agak lebat sejak beberapa hari ini,” kata beliau lagi.

Selain Malaysia dan Fiipina, pasukan lain yang akan beraksi di gelanggang UiTM nanti termasuk Kemboja, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos dan Thailand.

UiTM STADIUM ALL GEARED UP FOR WOMEN’S  FOOTBALL 

THE Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Stadium in Shah Alam is ready to host the SEA Games KL2017 women football competition with the opening match to be played on Tuesday (15 Aug 2017) between Malaysia and the Philippines.

Stadium manager, Mohd Hafiz Tahar said preparations started early this year and the KL2017 Secretariat were satisfied with the facilities available at the venue.

“The flood lights, dressing rooms and stadium seats are all in order without any glitches,” he said.

“However, due to the heavy downpour over the last few days, we will conduct our last inspection on the pitch to ensure that everything is in order,” he added.

The stadium has been evaluated and approved for the Games by the Football Association of Malaysia due to our involvement in the Premier League and Malaysia Cup competitions,” said Mohd Hafiz.

Apart from Malaysia and the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand will be Kemboja, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos dan Thailand will be in action at the Stadium.
