Thailand fell to a 2-0 loss to China in a friendly that was played at the Rajamangala National Stadium on the weekend.

Despite having the lionā€™s share of the possession, the Thais just could not find the back of the net when they were done in by a brace from Wu Lei in the 34th and 74th minute.

ā€œThe first goal was a result of our mistake. For the second goal, it was one Chinese attacker against three of our players but still we conceded,ā€ said Thai head coach Milovan Rajevac.

Ā “We were a bit unlucky not to win this game after creating so many chances. Fortunately this was a friendly. I hope we will do better in a proper match. We must create more chances and score as well.”

Thailand are gearing up for their title defenseĀ of the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year.
