Lalenok United of Timor Leste made a step up in their short history and also for football in the country when they have been accepted to play in the play-offs for the AFC Cup 2020.
Lalenok United, who were crowned as the Timor Leste League champions this year, will take on PSM Makassar from Indonesiaās Liga One in the play-offs for the AFC Cup.
The one off match will be played in Makassar, Indonesia on 22 January 2020.
And this afternoon Pedro Belo, the President of Lalenok United met up with Francisco Jeronimo, the President of the FA of Timor Leste (FFTL) to discuss further on the game and also the structure of the Timor Leste League for the new season.
āWe had a very good discussion on Lalenokās game in the AFC Cup 2020 play offs. It is indeed an exciting times ahead for football in Timor Leste,ā added Francisco.
