Cambodia will be hoping for some Honda spark when they take on Myanmar in their second game of Group A of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 tomorrow at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium.

The Cambodians fell to a 1-0 loss to Malaysia in the opener and where they will be hoping that the presence of head coach Keisuke Honda will be provide the much needed catalyst.

“Honda will be here in time for the game tomorrow,” said Cambodian coach Felix Dalmas.

“He knows what is going on in the team and we are constantly in contact through video on the team’s preparation and where the team is heading.

“We are introducing a new concept to the team, a changing concept and that growth process will take time. But this is the start of a new method and we hope that we can improve further.”

The match tomorrow is expected to be explosive with the hosts hoping to pick up their first full points while Cambodia will be looking to put their campaign back on track.

There were several positives from Cambodia’s first match and they will be polishing up their offensive play to make sure that they find the back of the net this time round.

Cambodia currently sits third at the table behind leaders Vietnam and Malaysia while Laos are on fourth.
