Success does not come easy and certainly, it does not come over night.

Indonesian head coach Luis Milla said this week that the problem with football nowadays is that everyone wants success – instantly.

Milla said that having a short term contract meant that coaches cannot lay the foundation in the long term.

“Indonesians have a lot of aspiration in wanting to be better but that does not come over night,” said Milla.

“The problem is most coaches here (in Indonesia) are on short term contracts which are aimed at instant success.”

Milla himself is on a two year contract with the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) and where he will be evaluated at the end of the ASIAN Games 2018 this August.
