Timor Leste took a big step towards a place in the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026 when they beat Brunei Darussalam 3-0 at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium tonight.

João Rangel gave Timor Leste the lead after 27 minutes before a penalty from Zenivio Mota in the 43rd minute put them comfortably 2-0 at the break.

Oatnasio da Silva then put the game beyond reach with the third goal of the game right at the end (90th minute).
