Felda United may have some salary issues but on the field, The Fighters are turning out to be tough nuts in the Super League with a fighting 1-1 draw with Perak SEC (PKNP) at the Tun Abdul Razak Stadium in Jengka on Sunday.

Once again it was their skipper Hadin Azman, 25, who rescued his team with the equalizer – just like he did in the 1-1 draw against Selangor in their opening match at the Shah Alam Stadium last week.

PKNP who fell 2-0 to Kedah in their first match in Manjung last week, grabbed a 35th-minute lead through their 25-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Arnold Abbey whose header beat Felda goalkeeper Norazlan Razali all the way.

Hadin fired home the equalizer on 68 minutes via a freekick from the edge of the penalty box much to the delight of coach Nidzam Jamil.

Pahang leads the 12-team Super League after two matches with six points – separated by goal difference from defending champions Johor Darul Takzim and Melaka United in second and third place respectively. RIZAL ABDULLAH
