Two-year extension for Dooley

The Philippines Football Federation (PFF) have offered a two-year extension to head coach Thomas Dooley’s position which will see him through the AFF Suzuki Cup later this year.

The AFF Suzuki Cup will be co-hosted by the Philippines and also Myanmar at the end of November 2016.

“We’ve had initial discussions and I’m staying for two more years,” said Dooley.

“I always said that I wanted to stay so that’s why it was easy to come together and talk.”

The Philippines are currently ranked 114 in the world.
