Johor Darul Takzim’s head coach Raul Longhi is disappointed with the two precious points lost against PKNS FC at the Shah Alam Stadium on Sunday after the 1-1 draw against the Selangor outfit.

The Argentine could not hide his disappointment and said the “waterlogged and soggy pitch conditions” was to be blamed for the stalemate in a match JDT controlled.

“The waterlogged and soggy pitch made things very difficult for my team. we controlled the game but ball control was virtually impossible,” said Longhi.

The stalemate on Sunday narrowed JDT’s lead at the top of the table to six points. The Southern Tigers lead the table standings with 29 points with Perak on 23 points.

The two clash at the Larkin Stadium – the home of the Southern Tigers – this Saturday.

“The six points lead at the top is good but it is important we take the three points against Perak. It is a very important match for us,” added Longhi. RIZAL ABDULLAH
