Hul Kimhuy delivered Boeung Ket FC their first-ever Hun Sen Cup title this week when his spectacular save gave them a 5-4 penalty shootout win at the RSN Stadium.

The score at the end of regulation was 1-1 with striker Mon Vannda’s 47th minute lead for Boeung Ket being cancelled out by Svay Rieng’s Nub Tola’s 70th-minute effort.

With extra time unable to produce a winner, the penalty shootout saw a close battle between the two sides for the score to stand at four apiece.

And with Vahed’s shot wheezing past an outstretched Aim Sovannarath to give Boeung Ket the lead, Kimhuy made a spectacular save to deny Hoy Phallin’s penalty kick for the win.
