A first-half strike from Tu Minh Quang was enough to give Vietnam a hard-earned 1-0 win over Indonesia on the third matchday of Men’s Futsal SEA Games 2025 at the Nonthaburi Sports Complex Gymnasium.

Following their loss to Malaysia just the day before, Vietnam needed to pick up the full points in their second round robin tie against Indonesia.And while they put up a more disciplined defensive line, Vietnam relied on their fast counter attacks, where in the 11th minute, a free kick was fully utilised by Minh Quang to slot the ball home,The first three points for Vietnam in their first two matches of Men’s Futsal meant that they will be looking for another win tomorrow when they face host Thailand.Indonesia will also hope to put their campaign back on track when they face Malaysia next.In the meantime, Malaysia ran out 8-1 winners over Myanmar today.An own goal from Mo Myint Soe in the third minute put Malaysia on the way to be followed by goals from Awaluddin Mat Nawi (7th), Harith Naim (13th), Danial Dain (14th), Firdaus Ambiah (17th), Syahir Iqbal Khan (18th and 28th) and Syed Shahrul Nizam (39th).Naing Linn Tun Kyaw scored Myanmar’s only goal in the 16th minute. #AFFPhotos Courtesy #PSSI
