Japanese automotive giant Suzuki will sponsor the Vietnam national teams for the next two years.
The sponsorship deal could not have come at a more opportune time as Vietnam look to make an assault on the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 at the end of the year.
And should the outing at the biennial championship proved fruitful, Suzuki has promised considerable bounty.
Other than the AFF Suzuki Cup, the Vietnam national side will also do battle for a place in the 2019 Asian Cup.
The Vietnam national women’s team will also take part in the AFF Women’s Championship in Mandalay, Myanmar.
The Under-22 men’s team will also participate in the SEA Games in 2017 and the also the qualifying round of the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship.
