Beach Volleyball Major Series 2018 start in Fort Lauderdale

Last year’s third placed German team in Fort Lauderdale Chantal Laboureur and Julia Sude are keen to get on the podium again.

The Austrian stars Clemens Doppler and Alexander Horst, who took home silver at their home World Championships 2017 in Vienna, seek for their chance to prevent the Brazilian title defenders Saymon Barbosa Santos and Álvaro Magliano de Morais Filho from their second consecutive win.

Local heroes Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena also claim the victory especially supported by the US crowd.    

For the third time after 2017 and 2015 the 5*star tournament of the Beach Volleyball Major Series welcomes the top-teams in Fort Lauderdale (USA). Followed by a short break the series is heading to Gstaad (SUI), Vienna (AUT) and Hamburg (GER), although the German Hanseatic city was chosen to host the World Tour Finals once more.
