The prestigious 81st edition of EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) is set to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts once more in Milan, Italy, showcasing a robust presence from the WorldSBK paddock. This annual event, a highlight in the global motorcycle calendar, offers fans a chance to meet their favourite riders and discover groundbreaking machines.

WorldSBK Paddock Show highlights

A centrepiece of WorldSBK’s participation at EICMA will be the dynamic Paddock Show. Renowned for its engaging atmosphere at race circuits, the show brings the excitement of the championship into the heart of Milan, complete with rider appearances, interactive games, presentations, and quizzes designed for fans of all ages.

Among the highlights, 2024 race winners Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team) and Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven) will join the stage, with Iannone fresh off his recent MotoGP™ return at Sepang. Maria Herrera (Klint Forward Factory Team), the 2024 WorldWCR runner-up, will share insights on her impressive season and aspirations for a renewed title challenge.

Joining them will be WorldSBK newcomer Yari Montella, gearing up for his debut on the Panigale V4 R alongside seasoned teammate PetrucciSam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) is set to discuss his preparations for a second WorldSBK season after a rollercoaster 2024.

Two-time WorldSBK Champion Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and his standout teammate Nicolo Bulega will also participate, celebrating an impressive rookie season for the Italian.

Exclusive appearances and unveils

The EICMA schedule kicks off with notable events before the Paddock Show officially begins. On Tuesday, 2024 World Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu and his BMW Motorrad teammate Michael van der Mark will feature in BMW’s exclusive press conference, showcasing the 2025 lineup, including the latest iteration of the BMW M 1000 RR.

Fans can also look forward to the global unveiling of the bimota KB998 road version, a highly anticipated model previewed at the recent Jerez test.

Champions charity race: a thrilling finale

Fans can look forward to an action-packed conclusion to EICMA with the Champions Charity Race on Sunday, the final day of the event. This special race will feature top riders competing on single-cylinder flat track or enduro/cross bikes, modified specifically for the occasion.

The lineup boasts a stellar cast, including Pata Prometeon Yamaha stars Jonathan Rea and Andrea Locatelli, Team HRC’s Xavi Vierge, and Team Motocorsa Ducati’s newest member, Ryan Vickers.
